Magic of colors Architect Moshe Safdie had high hopes when he built the Sands Skypark in Singapore. The Sands Skypark runs across three structures of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. The new add-on to the $6 billion dollar high-rise complex includes a pool that sits atop the hotel and is 55 stories above ground. The Infinity pool has attracted a lot of attention; it is nearly 500 feet in length and appears to be an edgeless pool. If a visitor to the pool happens to swim over, they would fall into a basin that acts as a filter pumping water right back into the giant waterway. Sands Skypark is itself nearly 1,250 feet long and runs along a rooftop deck that in addition to the pool features shops, theaters, casinos, a museum and indoor canals equipped with an observation deck and a botanical garden.
