Born in the artist Hoblak September 23, 1967, in the Ternopil region of Ukraine, and studied architecture at the Polytechnic Institute of Lviv.

Although the drawing was always his passion, but he used precision engineering and technology to create these visual illusions, and was among the famous historical figures painted by Hoblak: Charles Darwin, and Vincent Van Gogh, William Shakespeare.

Buffalo Color

The festival in China for the bulls painted on them by artists, this festival every year, believe that the bulls coloring protects them from the Tigers
What started as a means to ward off intruders, is now a full-blown festival. The people of Jiangcheng County, China’s Yunnan Province, have their bulls painted and decorated by artists for a major event every year. The bulls are displayed in a riot of colors, painted with a variety of themes.
Traditionally, the bulls were painted by the Hani people of China in the belief that the practice would protect their village, mainly by preventing tigers from wandering into their homes. Of course, the threat of tigers and other man-eaters has reduced drastically in modern times, but the festival continues to be celebrated with much enthusiasm. The China-Laos-Vietnam Bull Painting Festival, as it is called, had 48 participating teams this year. The paraded bulls were hardly recognizable, covered in colors like bright blue, gold, yellow and red. But the paintings were far from abstract. The bulls served as a canvas for some real artistic talent, landscapes, portraits, and intricate patterns adorned their otherwise brown or white skin. Even the horns were covered with paint.

The strangest response in the world in terms of color

The strangest response in the world in terms of color
know they look ‘photoshopped’ but these amazing flowers are the real thing, and can be bought at some select flower-shops around the world.

Invented by Peter van der Werken, the owner of a flower company close to Den Bosch, Holland, rainbow roses look like they’ve been seriously modified in programs like Adobe Photoshop. But, they are actually the result of careful flower engineering. Dye is inserted into the stem of the rose as it’s growing, and the petals simply absorb it. Sounds easy enough, but it’s a very difficult process.

Sadly, you can’t buy rainbow rose bushes, only cut, or dried flowers. And even those come at a price meant to keep most of us away. Five cut rainbow roses sell for $55 and two dozens cost up to $325. But it you’re going to spend a small fortune on a flower, why not buy a freeze-dried rainbow rose that will last for years.

Rainbow Roses are special, but I for one like the common kind better. I guess I’m old fashioned.

World of a small but charming

The WonderLand series, still under development, is being composed
by using a unique but rather simple and elegant artificial lighting and household objects (from vegetables to plastic bags).
The photos are shot (mostly) in a miniature studio on my kitchen's table with a Canon EOS 60D Camera, and a Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens and Flashes, they are real and  NOT a digital manipulation.
The outcome is a beautiful and magical set with a fairy flair to it.
The small models were found in my apartment and on plants outside my window, none of them was hurt during shooting.
tuned for new photos and in the meantime - Enjoy!
