It Maritime park Bonakn Committee National, which was founded officially in 1991 in the northern tip of the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. It extends over an area of 890 km ², 97% of which consists of warm tropical water and pure as glass (up vision to 35-40 m). The remaining 3% is made up of five islands. Water temperatures (27-29 ° C), making it home to a diversity of corals and fish, sponges, mollusks, reptiles and many kinds of marine mammals. The park contains about 8 species of giant clams and more than 70 species of corals and over 2,500 species of fish, nearly 70% of all known species of fish in the Pacific Ocean at the Western Indian end.
