Hotel Inside a Water Spewing Volcano
In the middle of the Andes Patagonian of
southern Chile, is "Huilo Huilo", the biological reserve at South of the
World, a private protected area with 100,000 hectares of native forest,
supports a diversity of high natural value. Within Huilo Huilo there
are many lodges, one of them is Montaña Mágica (the magic mountain)
Lodge. This unique lodge is manmade volcano-like structure that spews
water and is covered in rainforest moss and vines. It is only accessible
by a monkey bridge. And if this isn't sufficiently magical and surreal,
outside are hot tubs, carved from hollowed out tree trunks, with ideal
vantage points for wildlife sightings.
